Features
■High Purity
The impurity concentration, linear defect density, and inclusion density in the crystals, which can impede performance, are kept low.
This is a high purity product graded as top class in all categories of the "JIS C 6704" synthetic quartz crystal quality standard. The infrared absorption (α3585) is smaller compared to synthetic quartz crystal for crystal units, and stable frequency temperature characteristics can be obtained.
The grade table for N-Grade is shown in Table 1. The impurity content is kept low compared to standard products.
A comparison of the infrared transmittance characteristics of N-Grade and standard products is shown in Figure 2. The absorption at 3585 cm-1, which indicates the presence of impurity OH groups typical of quartz crystals, is kept lower than that of the standard products.

Specifications
■Lumbered / Standard Specifications
Lumbered synthetic quartz crystal is a synthetic quartz crystal with X and Z planes machined to specified dimensions and angles.
The surfaces of lumbered synthetic quartz crystal are machined with high precision, enabling accurate wafer cutting.
The synthetic quartz crystals are lumber processed in the Z area only and without seed crystals.
In addition to standard products, we can also accommodate requests for dimensions up to X:110.0mm, Z:20.0mm.
(Y effectiveness length varies depending on the X and Z dimensions.)
*Please inquire for special specifications.
Machining compatible with the SC-cut, IT-cut, and MSC-cut is also available.

◆Precautions for Use
Make sure to read the following carefully before using synthetic quartz crystals:
Crystal quartz changes from α crystal to β quartz crystal at a temperature of 573℃ because of phase transition. This phase transition is reversible, but transition from β quartz crystal to α crystal does not take plase homogeneously, and twins are created. Therefore, careful attention must be paid to never allow the temperature to rise above 573℃.
