On October 21 (Tuesday) and 22 (Thursday), 2025, a workplace experience program for junior high school students was held at the Chitose Technical Center over two days. This year marks the fifth consecutive year of accepting students, and for the first time, the program was conducted over two full days. After introducing NDK products and explaining the operations of the Chitose Technical Center, the students had the opportunity to experience operating 3D CAD software used in mechanical design.

On Friday, November 7, 2025, we received a letter of appreciation from the Director of the Fire Prevention Division at the Tokyo Fire Department. The letter was in recognition of "our deep understanding of the importance of fire prevention management and our proactive contribution to the advancement of fire administration." Encouraged by this recognition, we will continue to uphold the importance of fire prevention management and strive to contribute even further to the promotion of fire administration.

On June 11, 2025, Hakodate NDK Co., Ltd., our domestic production base, received a letter of appreciation from Hakodate Finance Office. This recognition was awarded in appreciation of the company's long-standing cooperation in economic surveys and its efforts to provide accurate and valuable information. This commendation is considered extremely rare, as it is granted not only for continuous cooperation but also after a rigorous evaluation of the accuracy and usefulness of the information provided. As a company rooted in the local community, Hakodate NDK Co., Ltd. will continue to contribute to the development of the southern Hokkaido region by providing information and other forms of support.

On October 24, 2024, two second-year students from Chitose Municipal Aoba Junior High School visited the Chitose Technical Center as part of their workplace experience program. After an introduction to NDK's products and an explanation of the center's operations, the students had the opportunity to experience operating 3D CAD software used in mechanical design.

On November 28, 2024, our company received a letter of appreciation from the Yoyogi Police Station at the "Autumn Traffic Safety Awards Ceremony." We were recognized for our long-standing proactive efforts in promoting traffic safety measures and contributing to the safety and smooth flow of traffic. Every year, officers from the Yoyogi Police Station are invited to our company to conduct lectures on safe driving for employees operating company vehicles. We will continue to actively implement traffic safety measures to ensure that every employee can carry out their work safely.

On October 25th to 26th, 2023, 2 students from Hokuto Junior High School visited Chitose Technical Center as a workplace experience.
In the field trip, they experienced the operation of 3-dimensional Computer Aided Design system after we explained NDK products and work of our center.

On November 11, 2022, Sayama City, Saitama Prefecture, and Sayama office signed an "agreement on cooperation in the transportation of people who need evacuation during disasters". To prevent the same level damages of Typhoon No. 19 in 2019, which caused by record-breaking rain, we will cooperate with evacuation by transporting people living in the flood hazard area along the Iruma River, to evacuation shelters with our shuttle buses for employees in case of disasters.

On November 24, 2022, 11 students from Tokura Junior High School visited Hakodate NDK as a workplace experience. In the field trip, we explained our company, toured the factory, and held a Q&A session.

On October 28, 2022, 14 employees of Furukawa NDK cleaned and weeded around 30.0 to 30.6 km on the right bank of the Eai River near the front gate of the Furukawa Factory No. 1.

On October 19, 2022, 24 Furukawa NDK employees participated in a cleaning activity sponsored by the Kejonuma 2,000 Cherry Blossoms Meeting, cleaning up a 3.5 km loop road northwest of the Kejonuma Dam.

In September 2019, we gave job lectures as a guest of special classes which is one of the career educations for middle school students in Suzhou Japanese School.
We told them the importance of work and introduced our products used in various field of our life.

NDK Festival, annually holds at the Sayama Plant, invites local stakeholders, folk tune club and Japanese drum club to have a good relationship with local residents. These local community events are also held at the other NDK group companies.

Awa Dance club "Dempa-Ren" performs their Awa Dance at a meeting of elderly, a special elderly nursing home, and a kindergarten. They also participate community-based activities such as the civil Awa Dance festival called " Iruma River Star Festival" which is held by Sayama city yearly.

Sayama Plant has been registered as a "Refuge for children" to take its role as a community cooperation hub for local children to stop by in case of encountering any danger or troubles.

Sayama Plant biannually implements a group blood donation. In 2012, it was awarded "Distinguished Service Award for Blood Donation" by JRCS, Japan Red Cross Society.

In Sayama Plant, we reuse donated books by employee. Also, we donate the books to Sayama City Public Library through selling the unnecessary books.

Sayama Plant actively participates environmental conservation activities promoted by Saitama prefecture and Sayama city such as Supporting Activities of Sainokuni Road, Cleaning Activities of Iruma River, Beautification Activities by Kawanokuni Supporters. Sayama Plant also works for a regional contribution as a member of Sayama Environment ISO Liaison Committee of which Sayama city and ISO14001 certified companies play a central part.
