Introduction
In recent years, the widespread adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) technologies has led to a rapid increase in the volume of data being generated worldwide. As a result, demand for AI data centers, which efficiently process and analyze vast amounts of data, continues to grow rapidly. AI data centers serve as critical infrastructure for processing enormous volumes of information quickly and accurately. In this series of columns, we explain why crystal devices play an essential role in the evolution of AI data centers.

Crystal Devices Ideal for AI Data Centers
Crystal devices play an important role in optical transceivers used in AI data centers. We believe that our differential-output crystal oscillators (SPXOs), which are designed to minimize signal fluctuations, are essential components for supporting high-speed, high-capacity communications in AI data centers. For example, differential-output crystal oscillators (SPXOs) are used inside optical transceivers. In high-speed, high-capacity communications, differential-output crystal oscillators (SPXOs) help reduce data errors and contribute to improved communication reliability.
Differential-Output Crystal Oscillators (SPXOs)
Our differential-output crystal oscillators (SPXOs) offer the following features:

・Low phase jitter: Extremely low phase jitter of 32.3 fs (@156.25 MHz)
・High accuracy: Stable signal output with an accuracy of ±25 × 10^-6
・Compact size: Compact designs of 2.0 × 1.6 mm and 2.5 × 2.0 mm
・High-temperature operation: Operation at temperatures up to 105°C
・Fundamental-mode operation: High-precision signal generation from 100 to 170 MHz
These features enable differential-output crystal oscillators (SPXOs) to deliver excellent performance in AI data centers, AI servers, and optical
